Welcome to our new website!

Welcome to our new website!

casual headshotIt is an exciting time for Yoga For Arthritis. Not only are we launching a new website, but we have several new products and programs coming on line for 2013. The much anticipated DVD collaboration with the Arthritis Foundation has resulted in a great product, perhaps the first DVD with so many specialized features for joint modifications. Find it on our Products page, or contact us about stocking your studio shelves!

We are teaching the Level 1 training at three locations, this year, including a new site in Minnessota. The first Refresher courses are also happening this year, so that existing YFA teachers can keep their knowledge current and learn new tools for working with their students.

Finally, we are very excited about our first two Living Well with Arthritis retreats in Vermont and Costa Rica!

Spend some time looking around the new website and exploring the new offerings. As always, let us know if you have ideas about what you’d like to see coming from YFA in the future.

We look forward to serving you!

  1. Hi! I am an E-RYT living with degenerative arthritis and 5 replaced joints. I teach yoga, Pilates and TRX and work with people with chronic issues. I would love to become involved in your programs, or bro g some to my area of NJ. I have also produced a DVD and written a book on adjusting asanas.
How can I become more involved? Thanks do much
    Nancy Davis, E-RYT

    • Great to hear from you, Nancy. You can start teaching YFA classes after attending a Level 1 training. The closest to you this year would be New York (in March). We are also discussing having one in New Jersey, but it isn’t on the schedule yet. Since you have a lot of experience and interest in this work already, I’d be happy to talk with you about eventually becoming a teacher trainer. If you’d like to talk more about any of this, perhaps we can connect by phone. I’d be interested in knowing more about your book and DVD. Feel free to send me the information and/or links by e-mail to info@yoga4arthritis.com. Namaste!
